My reminders aren’t arriving — how do I fix it?

On first launch Goalhive asks for notification permission and to “allow background activity”. On battery-aggressive phones (Xiaomi/MIUI, Realme, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung…) also allow Autostart and disable battery optimisation for Goalhive. In the app: More → Reminders has a one-tap battery-settings helper, an “Alarms & reminders” shortcut, and a “Send a test reminder” button.

Do I need an account?

No. Goalhive works fully offline with no sign-up. Signing in with Google is optional and only used to back up your data to your own Google Drive.

Where is my data stored? Is it private?

Everything is stored locally on your device. We don’t run a server and never receive a copy of your data. Optional backup goes to a hidden, app-private folder in your Google Drive. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I back up or move to a new phone?

Go to More → Account & Backup, sign in with Google and tap “Back up”. On your new phone, install Goalhive, sign in with the same Google account and tap “Restore”.

How do I delete all my data?

In the app: More → Reset all data. To remove a cloud backup, revoke Goalhive’s access at your Google Account permissions. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data.

Why do I see ads?

Goalhive is free, supported by occasional full-screen ads shown only at natural breaks (e.g. when a focus or meditation session ends) — never over your content.
